      It’s a good post. I’m glad to share the ideas.

      Most people seem to be of the odd belief that “consensus” means getting one group to give up their (wrong) beliefs in order for someone else’s (right) beliefs to “win”. And usually it’s not they who need to compromise but their perceived opponents.

      It’s good to see a post about not necessarily agreeing on everything but about common themes/problems and the variety of solutions people have to them. Just about everyone agrees on the problems, truly. All the hubbub, insults, slander, libel, hatred, and name-calling starts when solutions start getting discussed.
